This is very good - almost everyone I supported and no "activist" judges to blur the lines between church and state.

I'm disappointed to have Lorie S. Gildea I wanted her out, quite frankly mostly because she was Pawlenty assigned.

Piper didn't strike me as as strong a candidate as a couple others.

Judges can be so hard to get meaningful info about. I wish they had to publish some of the court records that would help shed light on how they carry out their jobs. Most people I know don't bother voting for them cause they have no clue who they even are.

I talk to my lawyer friends about the judges. They tend to know their records, albeit informally.

We attempted to talk with a lawyer friend about the judges, to no avail.

Yeah, I'm with you on Gildea.

And there certainly were a lot of strong candidates in Piper's race. I support him based largely on his "major issues" statements on the Minnesota Lawyer site, and the apparent consistency between these and the actual work (paid and volunteer) that he's done.

Yes, I started out by striking off my list the ones who listed their church affiliations. I don't know for sure they're dangerous, but choosing to mention that is about the only warning I'm likely to get.

There was at least one judicial candidate blowing the theocracy dogwhistle quite strongly...
