Whose feet are these?

This photo was taken at Dee & Corwin's wedding because somebody was amused at the wide variety of toe profiles in our black shoes. My foot is second from the left. I think that's laurel to my left, and I thought I remembered kalmn and sharlabacchus being in there as well. Does anyone know who belongs to these feetses?

(I have no idea why someone put a gigantic bundt cake in a dumpster in my alley. But I wasn't willing to let it go without taking a photo.)

i'm the one in the jeans, and that's char and sharla on each side of me, but i couldn't tell you which was which. i think lexiphanic is one of those, too, but not sure which.

Indeed, I am to the far left. I believe that Sharla is on the left of kal, based on baggy nature of the trousers.

Cake is not pastry. Tarts are not cake. They are more akin to pie as they have a crust filling and fruit on top.

I suspect that the cake was left as food for snow bun(d)tings. Due to increasing urbanization, these wee birds have been suffering habitat loss and a great difficulty finding food. The lucky ones have managed to subsist on the occasional pastry left outside a bakery.

In fact, such a divide has arisen between these urban survivors and their more rural counterparts that some scientists are calling them a sub-species - Plectrophenax nivalis metropolis (informally referred to among bird watchers as powered sugar bun(d)tings). However, with recent cleanups around the cities and the investment in new, lockable, dumpsters, this new subspecies is at risk of extension.

That is why compassionate bird watchers have formed the Magnanimous Labelers and Spectators group and have made these carefully disguised feeders for the new "Metropolitan" birds. They are occasionally filled with treats for the tweets.
