You're Alice's Adventures in Wonderland!

by Lewis Carroll

After stumbling down the wrong turn in life, you've had your mind
opened to a number of strange and curious things. As life grows curiouser and curiouser,
you have to ask yourself what's real and what's the picture of illusion. Little is coming
to your aid in discerning fantasy from fact, but the line between them is so blurry that
it's starting not to matter. Be careful around rabbit holes and those who smile to much,
and just avoid hat shops altogether.

I'd avoid hookah-smoking caterpillers, too. Here's mine:

Fascinating how the question set changes depending on your answers. Personally, I reject some of their dichotomies and thus become a fairly well-stocked library. X-D

Reasonable.

It appears to be a simple decision tree.

One of my first excursions into coding when I was a wee thing was a "teachable" decision tree - the classic "20 Questions" setup wherein the user chooses an object and answers a series of yes/no questions about it, at the end of which the computer "guesses" the object. If it guesses wrong, the user is asked to disclose the object and enter a differentiating question and answer about it.

Mine was extremely simple in that it didn't check new entry strings against existing entries, "forget" entries if a quorum of users rejected them, etc.. But it was still pretty fun to write as a kid. I doubt my friends and neighbors were as amused as I was - after all, they're the ones whom I held captive in front of the computer so that they could "teach" it.

Thanks for letting me reminisce. :)

You do realize this is now a very popular toy at our house called 20 Questions. A little purple ball with lights and your exact coding (though it adds, I believe, a bit of memory).

You could be rich!!! Wait, I'm too busy procrastinating on submitting any music to the world to help out...

The Dictionary?!?

C'mon, it gave me the dictionary.

So... cold.

Well, you know how dark and brooding I can be...
