In cleaning my bedroom windows I just discovered that somebody glazed and beveled the inside of the panes.

I believe the phrase I'm looking for here is "unclear on the concept."

Naturally, almost all of the glazing on the correct side has come loose, so I'm in for a scraping/painting/cleaning/glazing extravaganza.

in my bathroom, I believe it was that room I noticed when I moved in, anyhow:

that they glazed the inside of one pane,and the outside of the other. bah.

I think it was laziness or, that they panes were off the window & they didn't bother to think about which sidewould be inside or outside. So one's smooth & one's all rough and gluey.

Oh, that sounds strange. I don't think it's actually the kind of glazing I was referring to, though - I meant the bead of putty that is pressed around the glass in old wood window sashes to hold the glass in, and then beveled for cosmetic purposes.
