I'm given to understand that "everybody" is on LiveJournal and that "it's the only way people communicate anymore" and furthermore that "you NEED to set up an account!" Much as I doubt the complete verity of these statements, I figure that a bit of LiveJournalling is unlikely to do me significant harm, so here I am.

Yet another of the good people I was pretty sure I was never going to hear from again. I don't know about "everybody" being on LJ, and in fact, I can think of a couple of good friends of mine who aren't. Still, welcome, and glad to see you're here.
