I'm given to understand that "everybody" is on LiveJournal and that "it's the only way people communicate anymore" and furthermore that "you NEED to set up an account!" Much as I doubt the complete verity of these statements, I figure that a bit of LiveJournalling is unlikely to do me significant harm, so here I am.
