Went with Mummy & E. to hear Leo Kottke at the State Theatre tonight. He is always wonderful. I'm a little concerned, though: he seems to have aged a great deal since I saw him this summer. I do hope everything is okay.

We went over to the Local afterward (tried for the Dakota, but it was crazy there - turns out Dr. John was playing) and had an absolutely lovely hot buttered Jameson's. Also, though they already had the best Irish Coffee in town, they've improved it further. And Summit's Winter Ale is nice this year, but not spectacular: malty and maple-y with no bitterness at all (but also none of the fruitiness or spicyness that I like so well). The food was completely mediocre, as is to be expected.

I figured out tonight that should I have occasion to I could fit bodily inside my new dryer. I can't imagine what the occasion might be; it would make a lousy hiding place due to that huge view port, and it gets pretty cold inside (unless turned on). But now I know.

Front loader, I assume.

Yup: it's a Whirlpool GGW9250P (http://www.whirlpool.com/catalog/product.jsp?src=Compare&categoryId=119&productId=265). The washer's drum is the same size, so I would imagine I could fit in there as well, but it's very bumpy and dark and damp by comparison, so not as tempting.

Isn't that sort of information usually useful in case you have to hide someone else's body? I think you're doing it wrong. Get out of the dryer and start over.:)

I can totally see you in the dryer... That's awesome.

The real question is: Can TWO fit into the dryer? A spin in the dryer could be interesting!

Darn it, I knew something was amiss. Even so, I think the view port would be a bit of a handicap in hiding anyone. Of course, I could drape a sheet over them. But I don't think I want to do that to my nice new dryer. :)

Yeah, it's really surprisingly tempting. I'm almost eager for the bulb to burn out (they have *lights* now!) so that I have to sit inside to replace it.

Unless the two are both kittens: not so much.
